“CHARLENE!!!! Help me! You’ve got to help me!”

Charlene turned around to see a very distraught Patty. “Patty, calm down and take a deep breath.”

Patty gulped in huge amounts of air. Then she spoke with great concern, “Char, it’s bad. It’s really bad!”

“What’s really bad? What’s happened?” Charlene’s imagination conjured up wild thoughts of criminal masterminds taking over the Roxy or Mabel forgetting to take her medication.

“He’s gone! He’s been…taken!”

“Who? Who’s been taken where?”

Patty grabbed onto Charlene’s shoulders and cried, “Dick Grayson! We were all outside…”

“We…what we?”

“Um, well, it was me and Dick and Babs. Who else? Think Patty! Think!” Patty thumped her head against her open palm. “Oh yeah! Robin, Tracy, Robert, and Rogue Knight were there too!”

“And what happened?” Charlene prompted.

“We were talking and then these great big lights came out of nowhere. It was so bright it blinded all of us! Suddenly the lights were gone and so were Dick and Babs!” Patty buried her face into her hands. “What are we gonna do?”

“Patty, are you telling me that a UFO abducted the star of tonight’s DFA’s?”

The self appointed Flunky #3 nodded her head slowly.

“Crap a freakin’ dog,” Charlene whispered in disbelief. “We’ve got to tell Kat.”
